Iris Solution team designed and installed three sensory rooms in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The projects were finished in the Arab Centre for Special Education, the Nazik Al-Hariri Centre for Special Education in Amman, and Dr. Manal Kassab’s clinic at the Specialised Hospital in Irbid.

Sensory rooms are intended to provide unique environments that encourage relaxation, focus, and stimulation for children with developmental difficulties. Sensory rooms include visual, aural, and tactile aspects that aid with behavioural regulation, motor skills, and children’s rehabilitation.

These are the first rooms implemented at Jordan’s rehabilitation centers for people with impairments. They are an example of the Iris team’s distinctiveness and innovation in offering users integrated and unique experiences. The rooms demonstrate a dedication to offering effective chances to improve the daily lives of those who benefit from the sensory environment in disciplines such as rehabilitation and education.

The Nazik Hariri Charitable Center for Special Education is one of Jordan’s oldest rehabilitation facilities. It was established in 1986. Its mission is to diagnose, educate, rehabilitate, train, care for, and house people with disabilities while also providing physical therapy, speech training, transportation, and reverse integration.

The Arab Centre for Special Education is one of the major rehabilitation facilities in the Kingdom. It was founded in 1992 by a group of university professors and individuals interested in people with disabilities. With the intention of offering special education and rehabilitation services. The centre offers a variety of services to a large number of disabled people and their families. This chamber was built under the supervision of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Jordan.

The Iris team also established a sensory room in the Little Hands Clinic, which is overseen by Dr. Manal Kassab, an expert in autism, sensory-motor developmental issues, and speech therapy. She received her PhD in child health, developmental, and sensory problems from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.

It is worth noting that Iris previously implemented an integrated sensory environment at the Hyatt Regency Aqaba – Ayla Oasis Resort, which included tools for integrating children with impairments with their classmates in the resort’s play areas.
