At the conclusion of the MENA ICT Forum 2024, held over two days, November 20–21, 2024, at the Dead Sea, the jury announced Iris Solutions as the recipient of the Social Impact Award in the field of information technology. This recognition was awarded in appreciation of Iris’s development of sensory educational products that contribute to enhancing the educational environment in both the education and healthcare sectors.

The forum witnessed the participation of around 3,000 attendees from 40 countries. It featured a competition among leading companies in technology sectors, including artificial intelligence, smart cities, fintech, and edtech. This award was launched for the first time during this year’s forum activities. It aims to recognise companies that contribute to providing innovative technological solutions that create a positive and sustainable impact on society.

Iris’s participation in the forum was in the social impact category, for which it was awarded. This stems from a deep belief in the importance of creating a positive impact on communities through technology that enhances individuals’ lives. This award adds to Iris’s track record over the past decade in developing technologies aimed at serving education and society.

The award was received by the COO and co-founder of Iris, Mr. Mohammad Nanish. Expressing his joy, Mr. Nanish stated: “We aim for Iris to be a pioneer in the field of sensory integration in the region. We provide tools that help enhance learning environments in schools, kindergartens, and rehabilitation centers, improving communication between students and teachers. This award reflects our commitment to investing in innovation and technology to support sustainable development and achieve social goals through social-profit enterprises.” Mr. Nanish also extended his gratitude to the TechStart Palestine program for supporting Iris’s participation in the forum.

Iris is a Palestinian company specializing in educational technology and sensory environments. It offers innovative technological solutions to enhance the quality of education and provide interactive learning and rehabilitation environments that support skill development and creativity among children. Iris serves more than 550 educational institutions in the region, benefiting over 20,000 students through its sensoryREADY.
